Good citizen dog owners have their poo together OR their dogs poo anyway, when they pick up & deposit it in the trash. This is valuable in retaining the use of sites, enhancing the image of dog owners & preventing unpleasantness for you & your fellow event participants as a misstep doesn't end up with used dog food on your shoe. In appreciation of people efforts, JRRWA has been providing a more tangible reward at our events - each bag of poo deposited in the trash earns a raffle ticket in our poo raffle. Since all here are good citizens, we will be using an honor system - reward yourself with a ticket from any of the poo raffle stations for each bag of poo you trash. You can write your name or your dogs name on back, unless you really want to squint at tiny numbers.... Drawings for a few prizes will be held after each program each day. You or a representative must be present to pick up prizes - sorry they will not be mailed. Red tickets are poo raffle, Blue the regular raffle - we will not honor tickets in the wrong raffle. Though we will make an effort to place incorrectly entered tickets correctly, there is no guarrantee they will get there. By the way, for those who can not even be bribed into pretending to be a good citizen for one weekend, JRRWA has also had a longstanding $5 fine for failure to pickup as well as loose dogs.....
